Who are we?
Meet Lisa Riker
I has always loved to create art. From a young age, I created things. No medium was off limits. In my teens, I did needle work. In my 20's, I added painting and quilting. I love making family and friends homemade gifts. In my forties, I started a bakery and made custom cakes. Now I have found and nurtured a love of Gothic artwork. I fell into wire wrapping by accident and have never looked back. I really love making the Macabre beautiful. Painted bones and skulls are a particular favorite. Natural stones will always be the star.
Meet Dallas Riker
Without my husband, I could never do what I do. He is my champion. Dallas supports me in all the crazy things that I do. From getting up early and loading the truck, to setting up the booth, then selling my art, he is my number one fan. Dallas also creates and helps design. He is working on carving and also shaping stones for jewelry. Without him there would be no Goddess Wires.
We are Different
At Goddess Wires, we pride ourselves on unusual pieces you won't see everywhere. I love being the odd man out at a Market. One of the best feelings is hearing a customer walk by and laugh over the earrings, walk in and oh and ah over the jewelry and decor. Nothing makes me happier than someone saying, " I have never seen that done before." or "Oh look at the detail in that miniature!"
